Daniel Baine Bio

Pursing a Degree in Business at JALC.
Begins his second season teaching and choreographing at SBD.
Owner of Dancin' Daniel Entertainment.
2 years of dance education with SBD, including Jazz, Modern, Tap & Hip-Hop.
Workshops at Monsters of Hip-Hop in St. Louis 2006; Monsters of Hip-Hop in Orlando 2006; Monsters of Hip-Hop with Tucker Barkley in Carbondale; as well as a week-long Hip-Hop Intensive at the Debbie Allen Dance Academy in LA .
He has studied with, from all the combined workshops, under Dave Scott, Nappy Tabs, Poppin' Pete, Mister Wiggles, Georgio Fagan, Gil Duldulao, Geo Hubela, Lisa T., Kevin Maher, Rhapsody, LiL “C”, Chuck Maldonado, Amount Boyz, Dion Watson, Crumbs, Marty Kudelka, & Roger Lee.
Performed in the Debbie Allen Dance Academy annual Hip-Hop Show, which was sold out one year in advance.
His choreography has received Platinum, Gold & Top Scorer awards at the Statewide Dance Competition in 2005 & the 2006 Showstopper Competition, as well as various local competitions in ’05 & 06’.
He also played a dancing orphan in the Paradise Alley Players rendition of “The Rented Christmas”.
Choreographed and danced in the 2006 CHS production of “Little Shop of Horrors”.
Performed at many local events including Kid’s Fair at the University Mall in Carbondale, the Ethnic Festival in Carbondale, Relay For Life, Herrin Festa Italiana, Arts in Celebration, Arts in Education, Lights Fantastic, Du Quoin State Fair, DeSoto Daze, Annual SBDC Show at JALC for 2 years, SIU Girls’ Basketball half time shows, JALC Girl’s Basketball half time shows, Health & Safety Fair, Awesome Possum Benefit, & local talent shows.
Studies Hip-Hop, Jazz, Modern, and Tap at Susan Barnes Dance Studio.
He continues to study over 3 hours of dance per week at the studio.
